Earn Volunteer Hours

Log community service hours toward NHS, graduation requirements, or scholarship applications. Every session counts toward your total.

🧠

Deepen Your Own Knowledge

There's no better way to truly master a subject than to teach it. You'll sharpen your own math and reading skills in the process.

🤝

Leadership Experience

Tutoring builds patience, communication, and mentorship skills — exactly the kind of leadership colleges and employers want to see.

❤️

Real Community Impact

You'll be helping a child in your own community who can't access private tutoring. That kind of direct impact is something you'll remember for life.

  • 📅
Available at least 1–2 hours per week

How It Works — Step by Step

From application to your first session in four simple steps.

1

Submit Your Application

Fill out the form below with your name, email, grades, availability, and the subjects you'd like to tutor. Takes less than 5 minutes.

2

We Review & Reach Out

Our team reviews your application and verifies your grades. We'll contact you within 3–5 school days to confirm your spot or ask any follow-up questions.

3

Complete Onboarding

You'll get a link to our onboarding form: a short training video, ten questions on how sessions work and how we keep students safe, our Code of Conduct, and your availability. About fifteen minutes, on your own schedule. After that we'll set up a quick ten-minute video call to say hello before we match you with a student.

4

Get Matched & Start Tutoring

We match you with a K–5 student based on grade level, subject needs, and your schedule. All sessions are held online via video call (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).

Pick times in YOUR OWN local time

Check every time that works for you, in your own local time. Do not convert anything — we handle that.

One thing that matters: check a range, not a single hour. If you can do 4:00–5:00pm, check 5:00–6:00pm too if that also works. Clocks change twice a year in some countries and not others, so a session can shift by an hour. Someone who checks two hours in a row can be matched all year. Someone who checks only one sometimes cannot.
